Sophia is currently working as a legal professional. In 2021 she received her Bachelor of Arts in Justice and Law from American University in Washington D.C. During her time at American University, she was also a member, Teaching Assistant, and Student Co-Director for the School of Public Affairs Leadership Program where she received a Certificate in Leadership Studies. As a Student Co-Director she was responsible for interviewing, selecting, and supervising twenty-six student leaders and assisting four professors across four classes. Alongside her Co-Director and Program Director, she was responsible for advertising and reviewing applications to select the programs new incoming class.
After graduating from American University, Sophia moved to Washington state where she currently lives. She works for a local courthouse assisting in court administration and operations. In this position she supports twenty three judicial officers and regularly communicates with court staff, attorneys, pro se parties, and jurors.
In 2022, Sophia completed a Certificate in Editing at the University of Chicago. She particularly enjoys developmental editing. She is excited to utilize this knowledge to help students fine tune their writing and highlight their strengths while working towards their goals.
She is an avid reader and enjoys art. In her free time she loves spending time outdoors hiking and snowboarding. Sophia looks forward to meeting with students to support them on their academic journey.
